Darts & Dominoes Competition
On 28th December Calderdale YFC hosted a darts & dominoes evening at the George, King Cross, Halifax. Clubs from around the district were invited for a friendly match of darts and dominoes to fight it out for the ‘super, smashing’ prizes of Christmas selection boxes.
Around 50 members of the southwest district turned out for fierce competition as round by round in both darts and dominoes people were eliminated. The final winners were Sam Mooney of Calderdale for dominoes, and unfortunately a Penistone member for darts.
Selwyn at the George, as always, didn’t let us down with his hospitality and treated us all to a lovely pie and pea supper. The evening was a roaring success enjoyed by all, and provided a chance to catch up and meet new people in a completely relaxed atmosphere.
