County Ten Pin Bowling
On Sunday 18th February 2007, Dave, Hannah Noble, Richard Walker and I went along to Wakefield Superbowl to compete in the County Ten Pin Bowling competition along with 13 other teams.
After initial trouble getting all the computers to work bowling finally got under way. The quality of bowling was interesting to say the least, with average scores well below last year’s competition. I think this may have been something to do with the Valentines foam party the night before!
1st Holme Valley and Boroughbridge
2nd Penistone
3rd Silsden with Skipton
In the end Calderdale finished a respectable 6th out of 14 and Dave gained the 3rd highest score with 143.
A good day was had by all!
