Calderdale’s Christmas Bash

On the night of Saturday 23rd December 2006, Calderdale YFC celebrated the coming of Christmas and the New Year with a spectacular buffet and disco at the Victoria Hall, Ripponden.
Attended by over 270 Young farmers and our sponsors the night was a nice earner for the club, making over £600 before costs, which will go towards future YF activities and events.
Not having to run our own bar proved a huge success for both, as the bar staff at The Victoria Hall, said that they had never taken so much in one night!
The food was amazing, a finger buffet! One which our chairman (David Hamer) stated that he missed out on the best of the food!
There was a raffle towards the end of the night including the presentation of the Christmas hamper worth over £50! All other prizes had been donated by local businesses.

The night proved such a success that the venue has been rebooked for this year!
We hope you will all be able to attend Calderdale YFC 2nd Christmas Disco on 22nd December 2007.

Calderdale YFC would like to thank the following for help and donations for the raffle:
