YFYFC Valentines Foam Party
On February 17th the YFYFC foam party kicked off at 8.30pm, at this time the dance floor had merely 5 or 10 people on it and with only 1 little pile of foam in the centre. As you would expect the bar was booming with pints of COKE at £1 per pint! A right bargain! This was what I was drinking all night!
DJ Tim Whitworth was the resident DJ with some good old country tunes including “Cotton Eye Joe” and new releases such as “I Don’t Feel Like Dancing” and loads more!
After 10pm the dance floor was heaving! The foam machine was on full power pumping out over 40 litres per minute!
It was a struggle to get below the foam CANNON but well worth it once under it all the foam was in your face, then running out and chasing the people who were to afraid to get “foamed” and covering them in foam!
There were some ‘party games’ later in the night including shaving a balloon!
Bacon sandwiches were served from 10pm onwards to soak up the alcohol of the older one’s, which raised over £150 for Calderdale YFC!
The party finished at 1am by that time everyone was either soaking wet and/or in there second set of clothes, the dance floor was just a pool of foam!
All in all it was a cracking night with over 200 party goers!
I hope this event will be repeated next year!
